At WellSpan, our aim is to be on the national forefront of nursing advancement, innovation, and workforce solutions to support and accelerate the future of nursing. Our nursing programs are designed to offer development opportunities as well as alternate educational models for professionals to support a successful, thriving career in nursing.
Through an affiliation with Jersey College, individuals can pursue their nursing degree at our Jersey College's School of Nursing at WellSpan Health in York County. Our school offers a non-traditional, stackable credentialing approach and professional track to earn an associate degree in nursing in as little as 2 years – all with the benefits of a hospital-based diploma program. Students will receive hands-on, diverse experience at the initial clinical site of WellSpan York Hospital, with the ability to utilize all WellSpan acute care facilities. Tuition assistance opportunities are available for both WellSpan team members as well as non-WellSpan individuals for those who qualify.

- Through our Educational Assistance Programs, WellSpan provides additional support of ongoing education to earn a BSN.
- Achieving a BSN is made possible through our affiliated RN to BSN nursing school affiliates who will serve as a bridge for your advanced degree.
- Aspiring WellSpan nursing students receive a career journey map to help make it easier and accessible as a current team member.
